Progression 2.0…

A friend of mine commissioned this painting the other day; a gift for her brother. Apparently he’s been wanting something like this for the longest time and I was given the opportunity to take on this task of creating a painting for him. I was surprised by how much I learned about myself and the way that I work, in terms of my painting, which is usually a different approach from how I make prints and how I take photos. It was a good learning experience because some of the things I was expecting to achieve with a brush did not happen…and some of the things I did not plan were taking place. Nonetheless, I would not consider myself to be a graff, but I’m thankful for the challenge that I was given, I was pleased with the outcome, and the gift-receiver (aka her brother) says he loves it and thinks its dope!! *I’m only humbled and flattered*
